The Company’s origin dates back a full TEN YEARS to 1995, at about the time the first “made-to-measure” kitchen doors were being produced in commercial quantities. At that time, there was a very limited choice of doors which were either the traditional and quite expensive 'solid oak', or a range known then as 'pierced laminate' doors, which are now almost extinct!
A lot of potential customers liked the idea of just changing the doors and drawer fronts but couldn't find a design they liked!

Nowadays, there is such a fabulous choice of designs and colours that it’s sometimes difficult for customers to make a choice between them. You can see all the door ranges we currently produce by clicking on the doors page, as well as this, we can often produce doors to order to match with doors the customer already has.
Initially we traded as two companies, 'Kitchen Transformation' and 'Bedroom Transformations' but in 1996 these were combined to trade as 'Kitchen and Bedroom Transformations'.

Trading only in London and the South East, we decided in 2003 to expand the very professional business we had locally to national coverage. The only way forward, in our opinion, was to enlist other local businessman nationwide, to each operate a small, individually controlled business in their own local areas. To this end, we re-formed in 2004 as: THE KITCHEN AND BEDROOM TRANSFORMATION COMPANY LTD

Each Franchisee uses the same Logo which is widely promoted with local and national advertising and press releases. Individual Franchises are identified by adding the location of the Franchise to the logo.
