For instance, even while you are lying in bed, there are a few routines you can perform that can get you up and kicking in no time, while doing your health a favour. Here are some simple exercises that you can do.
One of these activities allows you to work on your arms. First, find two-pound weights that you can buy at any department store. While you are reclining, execute a full biceps curl with each arm and repeat this ten times. When you have completed the exercises on each arm, the next step is to sit up and repeat the routine but this time, however, bring the weights way above your head.
Another type of exercise which you can perform involves your upper body. While you are lying on your back, tense your body and then push it up towards the ceiling. Hold this position for a few seconds and repeat for ten times. Finally, leg lifts are another simple routine you can do. Raise each leg and straighten it above your head in a series of 15 repetitions. Afterwards, lie on your side and do the same activity again. There are just some of the simple exercises you can do in bed to keep yourself fit.
